Sunday
Go to Bluegrass Grill downtown for one of the best brunches available in Charlottesville (entrees are almost all under $10), but be ready to wait because this is a popular spot!
Later on in the day, stuff your purse with snacks from home and go to Vinegar Hill to catch an indie film (only $7 for students).
Monday
Go to Maya for $3 apps from 5-7 then head up route 29 for $6 putt putt golf at the Putt Putt Fun Center near the Fashion Square Mall. To really save money on this date, play “winner pays” and then put on your game face!
Tuesday
Go to Three for $5 menu night from 5-10PM then head over to Kegglers bowling lanes to knock over some pins—join Keggler’s email list to get special coupons and discounts.
Wednesday
Get a $3 burger at Trinity (the special runs all night!) then head over to Mellow Mushroom to check your knowledge of trivia! Or if trivia isn’t your thing, kick up your heels at Boylan dance night.
Thursday
Get a $7 ¼ rack of ribs with fries and slaw (the special runs all night!) at Biltmore then hang out on the newly renovated “tiki” themed patio where you can watch the sun set while playing corn hole and Ping-Pong.
Friday
Head downtown early and get some wings at Millers ($4 from 3-6pm) while sitting in the outdoor patio then catch a live show at the Pavillion or Jefferson Theatre.
Saturday
Wake up early Saturday morning and hit up the local farmers’ market (7am to noon, downtown) where you can buy tons of well-priced local vegetables and meat. Make kebabs and cook out at home!
If early mornings aren’t your thing, go to West Main where appetizers are only $5 all night.
